Let’s Face It, Facts Do Not Lie!
Our doula service tackles the significant maternal health gaps that affect Black, African-American, and women of color in the United States. Black women face a three to four times higher risk of pregnancy-related complications compared to white women. Research shows a decrease in cesarean delivery likelihood by 25%, a 30% decrease in pain medication use, and a 41% decrease in low Apgar scores with doula support. Our affordable and culturally sensitive care aims to address these disparities. By offering customized doula services that are accessible, we strive to enhance maternal health outcomes and enhance the well-being of both mothers and their children.
Black women advocate for respectful, equitable childbirth by promoting culturally sensitive care and removing barriers for empowering birthing experiences.
Transforming Our Community Daily!
Thank
you!
